Johns Hopkins bayview is one of the best hospitals in Baltimore. The neurosurgery department is incredible and the medical behavorial unit is as well. The care techs, nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists(physical, recreational and occupational), and doctors in the MBU are awesome and attentive to their patients. They provide the best care they can and make their patients feel safe and at home. Everyone in the hospital is so welcoming and accommodating. They won't hesitate to answer a question that you might have. I've been volunteering for the past month and it has been such a great learning experience for me and the patients

When we got here everything started off bad from the start and got worst from their. It seem like the staff got worst as the days rolled on and the nurse don't communicate. And they all had a different reason y my wife was still in pain and suffering and not one of the staff could actually tell me what was wrong with my wife. And she has been in here for a week and still it seems like they don't know what the hell is going on with my wife. Plus the other person that my wife was sharing a room with left and I've been here for over a hour today and they still haven't cleaned the room up from the other patient. Just sad

As an overnight stayer. I was given three delicious meals per day, really recommend the Grilled Salmon. They provide soap, socks, and etc. You only have a limited # of channels, but it’s enough to keep you entertained. The nurses were humble, intelligent, and nice. Overall, a recommendable stay. They helped me transfer into Johns Hopkins Hospital: a recommendable hospital, too.

Very professional and efficient. As soon as you enter you log into a computer and they call your name when it's your turn. The nurses and doctors are polite and very knowledgeable.

This is a review fro a chronically ill patient that has been treated at this very good and caring facility since 2007. I have had a kidney transplant, retina surgeries, amputation, etc. But you know what is great? I am still here! I can drive my car, travel, and care for myself with many thanks to the caring and capable team at Bayview Hospital. Many of these 'complaint's' are frivolous and some specious. You can complain about costs but not if you don't get insurance because you would rather leas that expensive car. Don't go the ER for issues that a local DOC or Urgent Care could deal with. They triage/prioritize at the ER. If you don't care for the phlebotomist well then ask for a different one. You are the consumer and you have the right. In a faculty this large a few personnel are not their best. Deal with it.

I go here anytime I need a hospital. The staff is always very caring and kind. The last visit I went there with a double kidney infection. So I was in a lot of pain. They took care of all my needs fast and efficiently. Before I was discharged Dr. Eric Howell gave me his personal number in case of any issues may arise. I did have a few. He answered immediately and very concerned. He acted immediately and fix my issues. He also kept checking up on me to see if everything is OK. He went over and beyond his duty. He is a very caring person full of helpful knowledge. I was truly amazed and appreciative.

Easy to get to through I-95. It's a big hospital (well not so than the downtown one) and the first time I went there, I was sort of lost. But I think it's fairly secure there. Doctors are very nice, and it is driven for excellence. The outpatient setting is nice too. Loved the geriatricians out there!

The Doctors, Nurses and Techs are amazing here. They are so friendly and caring. Only negative is the staff who check you in. Incredibly rude and uncaring. They need to be retrained on hospitality. I understand they deal with demanding and sick people but that's no excuse for the extreme rudeness. I do want to reiterate how WONDERFUL the doctors and nurses are here
